Key achievements include:
•Strong overall performance: The average grade for each GCSE sat by the 2025 cohort was 4.82, up from 4.26. •Excellent Music results – 75% grade A.
•Strong performance in comparison to England: Combined Maths/English 4+ and 5+ scores increased from last year.
Key improvements include:
- Science: Triple Science and Combined Science results improved significantly, with Combined Science being a net positive for those who took it.
- Significant improvement in History: 60% 5+ compared to 33% 5+ last year.
- Maths: Maths results improved greatly, and students on average did better in Maths than their other subjects.
